Diese Scheiben stellen eine weitere Aufwertung der Rohloff dar.  Bei einer Ersteinspeichung ist die Nutzung freiweillig, bei einer Neueinspeichung Nabe, z.B nach einem Felgenwechsel, sind diese Ringe ab sofort verpflichtend.  Hintergrund sind wohl vermehrt aufgekommene Flanschbr\u00fcche, welche entweder auf Speichen mit einem zu klein dimensioniertem Bogen oder auf eine \u00c4nderung in der Ausrichtung der Speichen im Zuge einer Neueinspeichung zur\u00fcck zu f\u00fchren sind.
